The Fulton-Montgomery Community College women's basketball team used a dominant second half to pull away from Herkimer College, securing a 72-61 road victory on Tuesday night.

The Raiders trailed 28–25 at halftime after a tightly contested opening two quarters but came out of the locker room with renewed energy, outscoring the Generals 24-15 in the third quarter to seize control of the game. FMCC maintained that momentum in the fourth, adding another 23 points to seal the win.

Hailey Monroe led all scorers with a game-high 24 points, attacking the rim and converting 8-of-9 free throws while also pulling down 14 rebounds for a double-double. Kieonna Christmas was a force on both ends, finishing with 18 points, 16 rebounds, six assists, and four steals. Shiasia Williams added a strong interior presence with 16 points and a game-high 15 rebounds.

FMCC's defensive pressure proved to be the difference, forcing 18 Herkimer turnovers and limiting the Generals to 31.4 percent shooting for the game.

The win marks another solid conference road performance for the Lady Raiders. They will host Jefferson on Saturday, January 31st at 1:00 p.m.
