The Women's Volleyball team will head to Niagara Community College to compete in the Region 3 Championship Tournament on Saturday, October 30th. FMCC has earned the #1 seed out of the East Division and will play in Pool A along with Erie, Herkimer and Monroe Community College.

The Lady Raiders head into the post-season with a 12-1 overall record. Pool Play begins on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. and all matches are 3 sets to 25 points. The top four finishers from Saturday will move on to play on Sunday for the District A and B Championship.

"The team has spent the last several weeks preparing for the Regional Tournament. Our objective is to stay mentally strong through the weekend and remain focused on the goals we have set for ourselves all season. We're going into this weekend knowing that the level of play is going to be highly competitive. Overall, the team has great balance, and they can defend the court as well as they attack. We are focused and determined to win the Regional title and advance to Nationals," stated Head Coach Tina Olyer.
