After a tough road loss at Onondaga, the Fulton-Montgomery women's basketball team delivered the perfect response Saturday afternoon, grinding out a 62–51 victory at Jefferson Community College. The Raiders used a dominant fourth quarter and a monster rebounding effort to secure the bounce-back win.

FM trailed 12–9 after the first quarter but settled in quickly, outscoring the Cannoneers 19–18 in the second to pull within 30–28 at the half. From there, the Raiders steadily took control, fueled by second-chance opportunities and timely perimeter shooting. FM won the third quarter 13–11 before breaking the game open in the fourth, outscoring Jefferson 21–10 to close out the road triumph.

Hailey Monroe led all Raiders with 18 points, adding 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals while playing all 40 minutes. Cloey Dopp knocked down five threes on her way to 15 points, providing key spacing throughout the second half.

The biggest difference-maker came in the paint, where Kieonna Christmas dominated the glass with 23 rebounds—including 18 defensive boards—while also adding 13 points, 6 assists, and 3 blocks in a complete two-way performance. Her presence helped FM overwhelm Jefferson 62–45 on the boards.

Freshman forward Liana Brown gave the Raiders valuable minutes off the bench, posting 5 points and 12 rebounds.

The Lady Raiders will be back in action on Saturday, December 13th when they host Jamestown Community College at 1:00pm.
