Despite a resilient defensive effort and a frist-half goal from Juri Barnstorf-Brandes, the Fulton-Montgomery Community College men's soccer team came up short in a 2–1 loss on Saturday at Cayuga Community College.

Barnstorf-Brandes provided the lone goal for the Raiders, converting one of FMCC's seven shots on goal.

The game saw heightened intensity throughout. Goalkeeper Mathis Briffaud made key saves to keep the Raiders in contention, while the backline, worked tirelessly to contain the opposition's attack.

The Raiders will look to regroup ahead of their next match on Saturday, September 20th. They will host Jamestown at Gloversville High School.
