The Men's soccer team is eager to begin their 2024 campaign. The Raiders will begin their season on Wednesday, September 4th at home. They will host Kingsborough Community College at 2:00 p.m.

First year Head Coach, Joe Gander, has heavily recruited in the off-season and is re-loaded for the upcoming season.

"Practices have been going really well, all the boys have been working hard getting in shape for the upcoming season and becoming a very tightknit team," said Gander.

The Raiders roster will feature 23 players, including several from around the world. Returners from last year's squad include; Carlos Jose Romero Astacio, Miguel Silva, Callum Flood, Sidney Ngala Ligunya, Sebastian Mitterhofer, Andrew Cordone, Hugo Alejandro Morales and Luwani Alvarez.

"We have a few new additions that are going to be key for our season this year all over the field and they have been impressive so far," said Gander.

Newcomers: Andrey Rincón, Luis Rincón, Bradley Warren and Augusto Silva will be key additions to the squad this year.

"Fitness is always a key component of pre-season practices, but we have also been working on how we plan on breaking down teams effectively and being a threat in our region. Our strengths will mostly consist of being organized as a team and disciplined and the focus is to play attractive soccer and get results while doing so," stated Gander.

The Raiders will begin their season on September 4th. They will kick off Region 3 play on September 8th when they host Genesee Community College.
