Men's Basketball Earns Road Victory at SUNY Adirondack

Fulton-Montgomery Community College used a balanced offensive effort and a dominant second half to earn an 86–74 road victory over SUNY Adirondack on Wednesday night.

The Raiders led 41–30 at halftime and weathered an early second-half push from the Timberwolves before pulling away down the stretch, shooting an efficient 57.7 percent from the field and converting 23-of-25 free throws in the win.

James Collar led all scorers with 22 points, attacking the rim consistently and knocking down 12 of 13 free throws. Off the bench, Craig Guest, Jr. provided an immediate spark, pouring in 19 points on 7-of-9 shooting, including a three-pointer, to help FMCC maintain control throughout the second half.

FMCC's interior presence proved to be a difference-maker as Mckenzey Johnson recorded a double-double with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists, while also adding two blocks. Jordon Knight chipped in 13 points and five assists, and Jeravontae Russell added 10 points and five assists to round out a strong all-around team performance.

The Raiders return to action on Saturday at home, looking to build on the momentum of another strong road performance. They will host Tompkins Cortland at 3:00 p.m.
