The men's basketball team showed resilience and poise on the road Saturday, pulling out a hard-fought 76–71 overtime victory over Jefferson Community College. After surrendering a late second-half lead, the Raiders regrouped and dominated the extra period to secure the win.

FM opened strong with a 34-30 lead after the first half, but Jefferson surged in the second, outscoring the Raiders 35-31 to send the game into overtime tied at 65–65. In the extra session, FM's defense stiffened, holding the Cannoneers to just six points, while key free throws and timely scoring sealed the win.

Brady Smith delivered a standout performance, pouring in 27 points on an efficient 10-of-16 shooting, including four three-pointers. The sophomore forward added 14 rebounds for a powerful double-double and came up with several crucial defensive plays down the stretch.
