Fulton Montgomery Community College Men's Head Basketball Coach, Ej Gallup is back in action on the sidelines of The Basketball Tournament (TBT) on Fox Sports. Gallup will be the Head Coach of "Team Fredette" and will lead the talented roster throughout a 64-team single elimination tournament for 1 million dollars.

Gallup is very familiar with the TBT Tournament, where he played alongside Jimmer Fredette in a final four run in 2018. In 2022, Gallup led The Money Team to the Sweet Sixteen in Dayton, Ohio, where they fell to The Red Scare.

"Between playing and coaching, I think this is my 7^th or 8^th straight summer in TBT. Tj Fredette and I, along with some help from Jimmer, figure out a way to put together a competitive team every year with a great roster," said Gallup.

This summer, he is back with high hopes to lead Team Fredette to the top of TBT. Ej will take the sidelines this year with a talented roster who will begin play in Louisville, Kentucky.

The Money Team drew the #5 seed and will play at Freedom Hall. They will take on #4 Run DFW on Saturday, July 20^th in the first round. The game is set for 8:00 PM EST.

Gallup looks to stay hot on the coaching sidelines of TBT, as he just completed his third season as the Head Coach for FMCC and led his squad to a historic 26-5 record, the second most wins in a single season in program history.

"We are feeling great about this year's TBT team and the run we hope to make. The competition gets tougher every year, which makes it fun and challenging. Our path will begin on July 20^th and the tournament will be on FS1, we hope Raider Nation tunes in and supports Team Fredette," said Gallup.
