Baseball picked up a doubleheader split against SUNY Adirondack on Friday on the road. The Raiders fell in game one, 8-7 and bounced back for a game two win, 11-2.
In game one, the Timberwolves won in walk-off fashion by drawing a walk in the bottom of the 7th to win the game. FM collected 10 hits in the contest.
Soichiro Hanawa led with 3 hits for the Raiders and Huai En Kao led with 2 RBI's. Kao went the distance on the mound, giving up 11 hits and 6 earned runs.
In game two, FM wasted no time as they scored six runs in the third inning. Connor Bentley earned the win on the mound as he surrendered four hits, two runs and struck out six. Tyler Safran and Kao collected two hits apiece. Hanawa led with three RBI's.
The Raiders are back in action on Sunday when they travel to Cayuga for a crucial Region 3 doubleheader. First pitch is set for 12:00 p.m.
