JOHNSTOWN – The long-lasting winter has slowed the recovery of most of the region's athletic fields. The Raiders were to have played a four-game series with Mohawk Valley this weekend, but neither the Hawks' home field in Utica nor the Raiders' home ballyard are ready for play. FM baseball fans will have to wait until next weekend to see baseball on their home field. Weather permitting, the Raiders will play the RPI JV team in Troy on Wednesday.

This website's staff will make every effort to post all baseball and softball schedule changes as soon as they are known. Meanwhile, since there will be no FM baseball this weekend, we are posting some additional photos of the Raiders' northern season Opening Day game at Columbia-Greene on Thursday.
